What is it with Swedes and folk rock eh? For some reason they've always done it so well, and The Amazing are the latest band to attempt the style and get it bob on. With the kind of alluring jangle Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young spent years perfecting, The Amazing have a lot going for them. Everything sounds so soft and well-rounded, and there's just enough endearing Swedish twang in the vocals to give them a lightness and sweetness we last heard from Belle and Sebastian in the mid 90s. 'Gentle Stream' is the perfect Autumnal jam - one for temperate days and dark nights as the temperature drops.
