The Family Amusement Centre is Misty’s Big Adventure’s most ambitious and fully-realised project to date. Drawing on a range of musical influences so diverse (Grandmaster Gareth’s Sprawl of Sound), this album has more hooks than a fishing tackle superstore. Twelve songs to make you nostalgic for a world we haven’t built yet. Twelve songs that diagnose the symptoms of an ailing society and offer a brighter prognosis than anyone dared imagine. This is Misty’s Big Adventure more serious than you’ve ever heard them.

More information about Misty’s Big Adventure: Misty's Big Adventure are an 8 piece band from Birmingham led by Grandmaster Gareth, who John Peel once pronounced "The New God". Since 2004, Misty's Big Adventure have released four studio albums to critical acclaim, with the NME calling their last album "a masterpiece". They have toured all over the UK with The Zutons, The Guillemots, The Magic Numbers and most recently with Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip.
