The cacophony comes across like the best of ESP’s varied catalogue, but is brought into check by the veteran minds at work. ‘On Jones Beach’ is far from a mere exercise, or just a simple jam session -this is a well realized, powerful explosion of ideas and life performed by musicians who simply put, are at the best form of their careers.
