Ace 35 track compilation of classic material from Detroit techno legend Anthony Shake Shakir! Anthony Shake Shakir is considered one of the most overlooked and underappreciated producers in US techno. Shake has worked with Detroit techno legends such as Craig Craig, Derrick May, Juan Atkins to Model 500! His music stands up against any of the aforementioned techno heroes. Rush Hour have collected together his seminal works from his own Frictional label as well as some choice output from 7th City from the past 15 years. Shakes music ranges from deep druggy detroit techno, minimal synth, classic soul infused house to more industrial early 80's techno - this stuff is the deepest, funkiest and most diverse techno of it’s time and has been surprisingly overlooked by many...until now! This compilation includes all of the classics like “Arise”, “Frictionalized”, “Get A Feeling”, “My Computer Is An Optimist” “The Floor Filler”, as well as an unreleased track “The Other One”. All tracks have been carefully re-mastered, breathing new life into the original recordings.
